NBCU Academy U.S. Marshalls Documentary
Our project aims to produce a documentary that examines shootings involving the United States Marshals Service. We have collected data on these shootings, including whether the suspect was entering or exiting a home or vehicle, as well as the city, gender, age, and race of those involved.
SLO Slyllabus Project
Our university-wide project at UT Arlington, originating from the Office of the Provost, aims to improve pedagogy among our professors by providing a collection of Canvas modules. The Student Learning Outcomes Project offers a diverse range of videos featuring pictures, videos, and voice-overs for every moudule.
Our project seeks to enhance the teaching experience and improve student outcomes by providing resources and support for faculty. The videos cover a variety of topics, including course design, student assessment, active learning, and classroom management.
Vaccine Hesistancy Research
Our research project produced 12 short videos (20-60 seconds) in English and Spanish, based on inoculation theory. The videos are being used in an online survey about vaccination-related knowledge and attitudes to understand the impact of health messaging on vaccine-related attitudes and beliefs. Our goal is to inform public health campaigns and promote vaccination as a critical public health intervention.
Online Student Orientation Videos
I assumed the lead role in video production for our project, which sought to bridge the gap between online students and the UT Arlington campus. Overseeing every aspect of the process, from location scouting and talent selection to scriptwriting and final delivery, I coordinated the creation of 23 informative videos. Covering crucial topics for online students, such as academic resources, campus facilities, and extracurricular activities, these videos provide a virtual connection to the campus, strengthening the sense of belonging for online students and enhancing their connection to UT Arlington. Our commitment to this effort remains unwavering as we strive to provide an inclusive education experience for all students.
